Dodanduwa, is a charming fishing village backed by rainforest, lakes and paddy fields on the tropical southern coast of Sri Lanka, about 100 kilometers south of the capital Colombo and a 15-minute drive from the historic city of Galle.

The Beach House is fully furnished in traditional style, have ceiling fans in all rooms. two bedrooms with quin size beds. Furnished living room, fully equipped kitchen with pots, gas stove, fridge and freezer. Bathroom with toilet, sink, shower. terrace, balcony with furniture and is serviced daily by  the housekeeper.

Beside relaxing at the house or lazing on the beach there are many things to do in and around Dodanduwa, including surfing, swimming, snorkeling diving, beach walking, meditation and more ..

it is also very easy to buy groceries at the local grocery store just across the road.

But simply sipping sundowners in the tropical evening glow as the sun sets over the sea is heaven.

There are easy day trips to the historic city of Galle, ancient Buddhist temples, waterfalls, rainforest walks, eco-gardens, lakes, surf spots, silk factories, art shops, turtle sanctuaries, tea and cinnamon plantations, the tsunami museum, whale watching and much more.
